Each event has its own specific set of rules. Please see the tournament page you are attending for rules specific to that event.
Rosters are completed by individual players or team managers online.
Players must submit valid IDs (to match in person if needed at fields) for age verification. Only photo, full name, DOB, & exp date need to be visible. All additional personal information can be blurred/redacted.
Each player must have their own unique email address.
A liability release waiver will be sent to each player before the event for electronic signature. Must be completed online (only) by 7 pm Friday before the tournament to play. Your name must match your ID on the waiver. All waivers are sent blank, if your name is auto-filled, then you need to update it in Adobe Sign. Click to change your name next to/below (depending on your device) the signature box to update.
The team Manager or person designated must check in the entire team on Friday. Teams that do not check in on Friday will not play in the event.
See the tournament event page for location/times.

An additional set of wristbands may be purchased prior to the event start for a fee.
On site, one-time replacement wristbands are $10.

We will try our hardest to accommodate those team managers bringing two teams, though we can't promise there won't be an overlap.
No. Well, technically, you can do anything you want, but the chances are slim that we can accommodate it.
Scheduling priority goes to the 2024 champions as they get to pick their game schedule in 2025. As you may imagine nearly all of them pick the same game times (in most cases this is 8-12 teams depending on the event). From there we try our best to accommodate team managers that bring multiple teams so they don't play at the same time. There are between 6-10 time slots on the schedule and 8-13 fields to be used...Each team plays 2-3 games on Saturday and there is always at least an hour break between games. Once that is complete all the other teams are filtered in (randomly via scheduling software) into the open spots... So, no...we can't fix your schedule to accommodate your pool schedule:)
All games will start by 7 am and end by 7 pm daily. Until the schedule is released 7 days prior we do not have a better answer to "What time will the championship game be over".
Yes. Limit 2 teams. Each team must be in a different division.
Must meet the age requirements of each team.
*In the Women's II Tournament, one of the teams must be in an age-based division.
No. We can not arrange the game schedule so that every single person playing on 2 teams will have no conflicting games. We suggest you don't double roster until you know the game schedule of each team.
All divisions will have a minimum of 4 teams and a max of 20.
We do not release the final team count until the registration is closed. We have teams with requests to move divisions (we will accommodate as long as there is room and it doesn't mess up the balance of either division), teams drop out, we have last-minute teams that are added. What may be the answer the day you ask can easily change the next day.
Yes. All hotels we have partnered with for attendee discounts are on the "hotels" page of this website.
All rooms are subject to availability and reservations must be made via links provided. We do not have any control of # of rooms available, access to information regarding reservations, or anything else regarding the rooms at these hotels. The attendee is responsible for all payments, taxes, etc.
No. Taxi's in Las Vegas are very expensive and very hard to get if you are not originating at a hotel. We recommend using a ride share service such as Uber or Lyft.
When ordering a ride share service from the fields make sure you are in the location you wish to be picked up at. James Regional Sports Park has streets on 3 sides of the complex. The best option to order ride service would be on the parking lot side between fields 1 & 7 on Robindale Road. The physical address is 8400 W. Robindale Road. Second best spot would between the children's playground area and behind fields 4-6 on Cimarron Rd.
We have collapsible camping chairs for rent at the merchandise tents. The rental is $20 for the weekend. Advanced reservation is required as we do not store them onsite.
We do not have any shade tents to rent at this time.
Yes, all tournament merchandise will be for sale from Friday - Sunday at the fields. We accept cash, credit & touchless pay (a processing fee will be added for all electronic payments).
Yes. For most events, Newport Soccer Store will be onsite on Saturday only. If there is something in particular you are looking for onsite or before the event, contact them directly at 949-233-6340. Full team uniforms can be pre-ordered directly for your team. Mention Friendship Tournament Las Vegas for a discount for full team uniforms.
Friendship Sports welcomes all soccer players, coaches, trainers, managers, administrators, and officials "without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or national origin."
Friendship Sports promotes gender inclusion by allowing people to self-identify. The gender that a player identifies with is considered that player’s gender. We reserve the right to ask for documentation that shows the stated gender is sincerely held and a part of a person’s core identity when registered if foul play is suspected.
All sales are final. We do not issue refunds for any payments made. Payments can not be applied to future tournaments. See terms of team application for specific policy you must agree to before submitting the application for acceptance.
When divisions are listed as "waitlist" this means there is currently no room for your team in that division. By completing a waitlist application and submitting payment, you agree that your team will play in the next lower available age division if a spot in your waitlist division does not open up.
In some cases, we can only accept teams to a division in pairs to keep the division balanced. Sometimes a team will drop and a spot opens up. We do not have a magical crystal ball that tells us the future so your guess is as good as ours.
Your team will be notified if a space in your waitlist division has opened up and your team will be automatically moved to the initially requested division.
